The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) will soon review downward the interest rate for borrowing through the N220 billion Micro, Small And Medium Enterprises (MSME) fund.
The Acting Director, Development Finance Department of CBN, Mr Mudashir Olaitan, disclosed this  at a workshop organised by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) for business editors and finance correspondents in Kashina.

Olaitan said that the CBN is passionately committed to the Fund, and is seeking for avenues to improve access to the fund, especially for participating financial institutions.

The leadership tussle rocking the Assemblies of God Church on Wednesday degenerated into a fracas as one of the feuding parties invaded its headquartres in Enugu.

An eyewitness who preferred anonymity said on Wednesday that at about 10 a.m., some unidentified people invaded the headquartres with weapons and burnt a vehicle belonging to a clergyman from one of the branches of the church.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger hailed the speed of Alexis Sanchez’s adaptation to the Premier League after the Chilean forward’s last-gasp winning goal sank top-four rivals Southampton.
Sanchez, a £30 million ($47.1 million, 38.2 million euros) signing from Barcelona, netted his 14th goal of the season in the 89th minute of Wednesday’s game to earn Arsenal a 1-0 win that sent them to within two points of the Champions League spots.
Southampton’s England international goalkeeper Fraser Forster produced a string of fine saves at the Emirates Stadium, but he could not stop Sanchez’s close-range finish from Aaron Ramsey’s cross.

Lagos –  The newly founded One Love Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Producers’ Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) on Tuesday said that the Nigerian film industry could generate N1 billion annually.
Mr Debo Alexander, the Interim Governor of the Association made the statement at the swearing-in ceremony of the newly- elected executive members of the association in Lagos.
Alexander was elected the Governor of the association.
He described the industry as a multi-million naira industry
